Arsenal FC injury update: Leandro Trossard, Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus possible return dates and latest news

ne of the most dramatic wins imaginable kept Arsenal five points clear of Manchester City on Saturday.

Reiss Nelson scored a last-gasp winner as Mikel Arteta’s side came from behind to beat Bournemouth 3-2 on a famous day at the Emirates Stadium.

While the Gunners boss is naturally eager not to talk up his team’s prospects of winning the Premier League, it is difficult to ignore that this was the type of result that can make champions.

Still, there will be bumps in the road ahead. Arsenal are suffering on the injury front, particularly in attack after Leandro Trossard and Eddie Nketiah picked up knocks of late.

With Gabriel Jesus not yet ready to return either, Arsenal look light up front.

Leandro Trossard

The Belgian was forced off during the dramatic win over the Cherries with a groin problem.

Still, there is a hope Trossard’s injury is not serious and that he can feature before the international break later this month.

Eddie Nketiah

The striker picked up a knock when Arsenal beat Everton last week and duly missed the dramatic victory over Bournemouth.

Nketiah is expected to miss Thursday’s Europa League clash with Sporting Lisbon and is again a doubt for Sunday’s trip to Fulham.
